Rewind a few weeks to the college class where we covered male fashion illustration...
It was an exciting class as I've always struggled more drawing men than I have women (though most of that is probably just practice), so it was helpful to get tips and guidance on proportions and features. I've still got a long way to go, but now I have a good base to progress from.
We did initial figure sketches/templates to get used to drawing men, then explored using coloured inks.
I really loved the inks, they're much more vibrant than watercolour paints and you can achieve some fun/wild effects with them (hence the name of this post), and they really pop when you sketch over them with a fine-liner.
Hope you enjoy the change from girls :)
