Last week I was lucky enough to attend the exclusive Kelly & Port fashion show in Bondi. It was an intimate event with free makeovers, champagne and a pop-up store.
I attended with close family friend and mentor Catherine Kelly of Embellish Atelier, who provided gorgeous hat and headpieces for the runway.
The designer, Kelly, is a stylist as well as a designer and has designed a range that is stylish, comfortable and incredibly flattering for nearly every body shape.
I didn't see one person who looked bad in the clothes, from the pleated midi skirts, boat necked blouses, classic blazers and mid-rise shorts (of which I bought a pair; I'd been looking for a pair of basic black shorts for nearly two years but had never found "the ones", Kelly & Port's were perfect in every way!)
The models obviously looked stunning in the clothes, I loved that while tall, slim and toned, they looked healthy, rather than the stick-thin waifs you see at most shows.
I did some live sketching throughout the show, above are some of my favourite looks from the evening. The gorgeous orange of the first sketch appeared all throughout the collection and added a fun pop of colour throughout, as did the hot pink and pale green pieces and fabrics. I've sketched the midi skirts mentioned earlier, they really did look fantastic on everyone.
I love the central look, featuring the classic white blazer and shorts, paired with a glittering sequinned black blouse, also super flattering with its v-neck and drape.
You can see the full collection and purchase the pieces here. After seeing the clothes in action, I definitely recommend a look!
